I’ve slightly modified my mt-daapd installation to index also my movie files, i use it for a custom written web front-end.
but want to know what the maximum filesize is that mt-daapd can handle (scan)
as most HDTV material isn’t indexed.

Does anyone know the maximum filesize that the mt-daapd scanner can handle ?

    Regards,

    I’m guessing it’s the classic 2GB barrier.
Also it depends on the scan aggressiveness. You may want to have that to zero for huge files like that.

ScanType is set 0 since the day i started using mt-daapd 😉
so i guess the problem lies within the source of mt-daapd…..
Any known workaround or place i should look for this limitation ?
