I went through the “apt-get” uninstall and tried to install svn-1586 via tarball and the instructions on the Quickstart: http://wiki.mt-daapd.org/wiki/Quickstart_Tarball The version that this Quickstart was written for is 7.04. When I try to start mt-daapd I get the error: The program ‘mt-daapd’ is currently not installed. You can install it by typing: sudo apt-get install mt-daapd -bash: mt-daapd: command not found I’m assuming that the startup script may be a problem but am not “Linux smart” enough to diagnose. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dave P.S. Basically if someone knows how to install svn-1586 on Ubuntu 8.04 server edition I’d appreciate the help… Pentium III 512 MB RAM Ubuntu 8.04 Server edition Author Posts Log In Register Lost Password Viewing 1 post (of 1 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
