Ok, so I’ve installed the newest version of Firefly and the necessary software on my Ubuntu 8.10 media server. Things were fine and working with itunes to my other pcs, but now Firefly will crash after playing a few songs if I’m lucky to get that far. On the configuration page it shows “Song: -1208852436.” This happens often if I restart Firefly and get things working again for a bit. Terminal is showing the following after running sudo mt-daapd -f:
Config entry general/playlist is deprecated. Please review the sample config
Firefly Version svn-1696: Starting with debuglevel 2

Try killing mt-daapd process, and delete the database.
Then restart mt-daapd. Should fix it. (Does a complete rescan though)However, try raising debuglevel up till 9 and view the logfile after it locks to find out what could cause the database to get locked…
