I have svn-1586 running on what is now Ubuntu 9.10 (started with 8.4 and have been updating with the releases), which serves my, mostly, flac library with transcoding to iTunes clients on my intranet. Its been working beautifully for over a year, but none of the music added after Jan 04, 2010 seems to be showing up in the iTunes shared library. This happens on all the iTunes clients – Mac & Windows. However, other clients like RhythmBox and the Java FireFlyClient show all the tracks. The Firefly server status web page shows it as serving up 19646 songs, while iTunes only sees 19247 songs. Has anyone seen this behaviour before? Any ideas what is going on? The only reason I would prefer to use iTunes is the direct streaming to the Airport Express AirTunes device.

    Thanks
