Have installed libid3tag accoring to the install directions Have installed mt-daapd according to the install directions When I run mt-daapd I get the following error: error while loading shared libraries: libid3tag.so.O cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory file is actually in /usr/local/lib so it does exist! Thoughts? It is on Redhat 8 😯 27th July 2006 at 2:39 pm #5696 stonewolf Krusty, Check the file /etc/ld.so.conf to see if /usr/local/lib is listed. If it’s not add the line, save, exit and at the prompt execute the command ‘ldconfig’ Hopefully this will fix the problem… Regards Simon Kennedy 27th July 2006 at 2:42 pm #5697 krusty will try that tonight! thanks….will report back tomorrow 28th July 2006 at 2:30 pm #5698 krusty 😀 Solved….thanks!
