Whenever I scan my library, it only shows up 120 random songs from my music directory.
I have about 6500 songs and I can’t figure out how to fix this problem, and I have no idea what search query to use. Can anyone help me??22/08/2008 at 6:27 AM #17639fizzeParticipantOf course. But you need to help us help you. 😉
What computer do you run firefly on? What operating system does it run on?
What version of firefly do you use?Are your music file stored on a local disk, or remote?
What types of music files do you use?

Compare the ownership/permissions of the 120 songs you can read with the rest, my guess is you will find something amiss.

I had done it before and never found a problem with the permissions.
But let me try once more.EDIT:OK I found that some songs have different permissions, but what should I tick off in these permissions box (to be safe)? This is an example of a song that permissions are incorrect. I’m guessing I tick the group read?

Firefly normally runs as nobody/nobody, and it simply does not see the files owned by greg/greg otherwise.
