    mt-daapd/Firefly Version: Nightly 1659
    Server Operating System: Ubuntu Fiesty
    Server Hardware: PC

I have been able to set up Firefly successfully on my Ubuntu machine to play mp3 and flac. However, I subscribe to a few shows on iTunes, and am unable to get the .m4v files to be successfully scanned by Firefly. I have added the .m4v extension to the config file, and can confirm this through the web interface. The log files report “scan failed” for every .m4v file.

I have been able to get the stable release to scan and stream m4v as audio only. Are .m4v files streamed as video supported in the current version of firefly?

    Cheers,
    Stephanie

Great! I’ll give it a run when it comes out in a nightly. Thanks.
