    Hi.

I have enabled “art_filename” in my config and notice the following message on the advanced config page.

    “Options missing from config.xml
The options below are in your mt-daapd.conf and Firefly uses them,
but this web page can’t handle them until they are added to config.xml

    general:art_filename”

Do I need to change the config.xml file to have the option show up?

    Ta

Yes, or edit it from the config file. It’s a “double-secret” option. Congratulations for being in the know. 🙂

Thanks. I am honoured. How do I edit config.xml to have it show up in the web page?

Look at the other stanzas there and find one similar. Take one that is a simple string, like server name, and copy that into a block that seems appropriate. Maybe the “scanning” block.

The tag will be general:art_filename, and just copy appropriately everything else.

Play with it — it will be obvious as soon as you start messing with it.
