Hi – I’m new to firefly, but found the smart playlist editing functionality very frustrating.
I’ve authored a new page (browse.html + browse.js) that uses drop-down menus to build up the playlist criteria. The files in the attached zip should be copied into the admin-root folder of firefly and then the new functionality can be seen on the “browse” page.
Apologies if this isn’t the right way to contribute to the project 😀 !
Please send me any feedback as the page is pretty rough – I’ve also only got it working with IE – sorry, not Firefox or Opera!

    Thanks
    Matthew

Hi, personally i thing the original playlist editor looks quite simple and works fine but this looks great too and even easyer.
What i miss in the original editor and in this on is the possibility to choose and sort by “album artist” and not only artist.
I will take a closer look at this one when i get home tonight…

    No, nothing happens…
I get the new entries on the head page of FF but when i click “browse” Explorer stops responding.

    hi matthew,
great work. but I can not see my static m3u playlists. Is there a way to make this visible in your new page?
