Hey does any have this device:

    http://www.amazon.com/Mvix-Wireless-Media-Center-MX-760HD/dp/B000LLH86W/ref=sr_1_18/102-9073473-1198550?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1185394222&sr=1-18

Looks like a pretty good one for streaming digital content to yout TV/media center.

I am curious since it is linux based if it FF can be loaded on it to serve as a NAS for sending music to the Soundbridge.

I looked at that, and almost got it. Looks pretty tasty, actually.

I agree on the tastiness, Ron.. the question is can it be hacked to run FF… then it will be the perfect singular device..

Hm, no HDMI, and no H.264 – which is weird because even my old Pinnacle SC200 is capable of doing that. Then again, my SC200 also lacks HDMI. But H.264 surely is a codec to come.

Other than that its a nice device. I am however very fond of having client & server seperate Which has the upside of keeping the (noisy) HDs somewhere else.

If you are less concerned about noise, then this is surely nice 🙂

Fizze, you are right with no H.264, seems odd, maybe a firmware update will solve that..

No HDMI but it does have DVI so I guess you can use and adapter.

With a quiet HDD, this might be a cool toy.

Can it be hacked… can you put FF on it… those are the interesting questions.

Well, components are fine for HD content too 😉

Actually, it looks like it can and has been hacked. Check out this wiki:
