Hi guys,
First of all i would just like to say a big thanks for this software. i am running it on a NSLU2 and its amazing!!!
However, i have run into a little problem. Every song name that has an apostrophe in it (‘) makes it crash. Is there a way around this at all? I have about 6000 songs so don’t want to rename them all unless i have to.

No way around it (without renaming) now. I’ve got a ticket for it, and I’ll start following up on these once I get next nightly out.

renaming could be done using:
rename “s/’/-/” * (current dir only)
find . -print | rename “s/’/-/i” (recursive)(replace – to use another replacement character)

rename? and it takes sed-style arguments? What system and package is that a part of? Crazy. And all this time I’ve been doing baroque stuff like:

its authored by Larry Wall. It’s just there on my Kubuntu box, probably part of the perl package.

I never thought of using backtics in a for clause, I love UNIX 🙂
