I was working on two machines side-by-side today, and I noticed that when I deleted a song in iTunes on Machine A, that song near-instantly disappeared from the share list on Machine B.

Does mt-daapd have this feature and I’m just missing it? While I experiement, it gets a little old having to “Eject” and reload the library every time I want to see a new song or another change.

There is an advanced configuration option called “supports update”, that will do that. It’s got some bugs, and it forces a complete library transfer, but if your library changes infrequently, you can try that.
