Hi,
i’m using an linksys nas200 with modified firmware to open the ssh port.
now i’m trying to install an mt-daap server on this device.
I have no idea how to install it on that device. there are a lot of hot to’s for an nslu2, but has anybody tried it on an nas200.thank for help

Did you setup this firmware mentioned here: http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/showthread.php?t=57066 ??
What else can you say about the device – I’m currently looking for something to supersede my slug.

the speed of the nas200 is pretty bad. average of 3-5 MByte/s. Meanwile there are better alternatives than this one.

i just hoped, that there is someone who can give me a step by step tutorial. because there is no second chance, when there is something wrong.

As firefly doesn’t have mad dependencies, and the devs seem to be active on the linksysinfo forums, I guess chances are there.Did you try to run a x86 binary, just for kicks?
07/06/2008 at 10:49 PM #17158TuVNeRaGuestHello.
I am new on NAS200. I have installed modified firmware made by Jack(Linksys Forums).
Does anybody know, how can I download torrent files on NAS200?
Please help me… 🙁

i386 binaries should be compatible to that target since i486 is backwards compatible.

hast Du den mt-daapd zum laufen bekommen?
Überlege mir auch das NAS für die Soundbridge zu kaufen.
Gruß
