    Hi,

i’m using an linksys nas200 with modified firmware to open the ssh port.
now i’m trying to install an mt-daap server on this device.
I have no idea how to install it on that device. there are a lot of hot to’s for an nslu2, but has anybody tried it on an nas200.

    thank for help

According to Nas-Central it has a RDC R3210 CPU. I’ve never heard of that one before. It is compatible to the i486 instruction set. So you should be able to compile stuff for it, if you’ve got the right deps.

Did you setup this firmware mentioned here: http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/showthread.php?t=57066 ??

What else can you say about the device – I’m currently looking for something to supersede my slug.

the speed of the nas200 is pretty bad. average of 3-5 MByte/s. Meanwile there are better alternatives than this one.

i just hoped, that there is someone who can give me a step by step tutorial. because there is no second chance, when there is something wrong.

    It doesn’t look too bad.
As firefly doesn’t have mad dependencies, and the devs seem to be active on the linksysinfo forums, I guess chances are there.

Did you try to run a x86 binary, just for kicks?

    Try http://nightlies.fireflymediaserver.org/version.php?version=svn-1586 😉

i386 binaries should be compatible to that target since i486 is backwards compatible.
