    I have the following installation:

NAS: Netgear ReadyNas Duo (Radiator 4.1.3) With Firefly svn-1676
    Router: Speedtouch 716i
Macbook Pro Mac OS X 10.5.3
    iTunes 8.0

This was a working solution, but then my Speedtouch was getting more errors everyday, and I had to install the most recent firmware.

Then iTunes, on my Macbook, couldn’t find the firefly anymore.

I have updated the firmware on the ReadyNas.
I have reset the netgear to the old IP
The Macbook van connect to the ReadyNas, and Firefly seems to be up and running.

Why can’t iTunes find the Firefly anymore?

Yes, I’m a n00b, and I hope anybody could help me with this problem.

    Thanks!!

If the NAS is wired & the Macbook wireless then your router is blocking multicast traffic & therefore preventing iTunes from finding Firefly on the NAS.

You need to look for settings in the router labelled:
    Multicast
    IGMP
    WMM
    AP Isolation.

    Thank you very much!!

I enabled the multicast, and iTunes found my Firefly again.

    Thanks for your fast reply
