issue playing artists starting with "the"

Hi, I’ve been using firefly media server for quite some time now, but I’ve always had this one slightly annoying issue that I don’t know how to fix. Basically, what happens is whenever I play a song by an artist whose name starts with “The” the artist’s name then appears twice in iTunes, with the song I’m currently listening to separated from the rest of the tracks of this artist. When the track finishes I have to manually click on the next track to hear it. One way to get around this was to play/flip through all of the tracks for that artist, moving them under the new entry. Then I can play the songs straight through. This may sound confusing, so I included a few screen shots:

Maybe this has something to do with the fact that the ‘sort by’ name is different than the artist’s name? Any help on how to fix this would be great.
