    I would like to allow my mt-daapd to be accessible by my local LAN but not my VPN. So for example I would like to deny 10.8.0.*

    I can set an iptables rule to do it but I thought it would be a nice feature to have.

    Honestly, an ip tables rule would be more straightforward then implementing IP filtering into an application. I at least would prefer the ipfilter, as I use it anyway to block ssh brute force attempts.

    Hmm, you do understand what I’m speaking of right? Most (if not all) server software has the ability to allow from/deny from certain IP ranges.
