A feature I would find handy would be a Front End Smart List Option – a smart list that limits the files presented to the Roku.

Would work nicely in a Party/Jukebox mode where the only songs searchable/browseable/playable would be ones matching my strict Party-For-Sure criteria (i.e. Rating > 3, Genre = Rock, Artist <> Anything My Kids Listen To)

    Possible?

As it stands right now, the “Library” is actually a smart playlist. It’s a pretty simple smart playlist (select * from songs), but it’s a smart playlist. I fully intend to be able to use criteria to force a particular connection to use a playlist as the library. So using one particular password would connect you to a library that only had a certainly playlist as teh “base” library, and all the other playlists would be transparently “anded” with the base playlist.

Something I’ve wanted for a long time, but is tied back with the db reorg, and is made more difficult when using “sort” and “top” playlists. But it will get there.
