HenrikHmm. How is that possible. Did you just click the .swf-link?

Yeah, I see your IP and all. Fan of Jazz are we?
22/11/2007 at 1:43 PM #13514AnonymousInactivewell, i think something might be wrong with the version in yr sig…
i just tried d/l it twice… only 310 bytes? that can’t be right…
anyway, i accidentally copied over the one I had, and now it doesn’t work at all with this 310 byte swf file.
22/11/2007 at 1:45 PM #13515Bo MellbergParticipantI have removed it. It will stay gone until I resolve this security issue.
The 310 bytes you are seeing is the error message in html.

Well, my two security cent are: Close those DAAP ports and whatnot, only leave 80 open, and some non-standard-SSH port.
OpenSSH on linux is a breeze, disallow port forwarding for anyone but your user, and use ssh to tunnel port 3689 to your remote machine. Of course SSH should be used with a PKI and passwords too. 😉22/11/2007 at 4:19 PM #13518AnonymousInactiveor whynot just parse the connection info from another file? say connection.xml. It’s not going to change anyways, then you can still just upload ‘FirePlay.*’ to the community because the connection info is in your own ‘connection.xml’, and each of us will have our own.

Henrik23/11/2007 at 3:14 PM #13519Bo MellbergParticipantHey all!
Rewrite is finished. The code is now built the same way as the playlist.html, except that it doesn’t show all songs in your library. You have to select an album just like before. I have planned for multiple selections so later you will be able to force it to look through the whole library. That will take time though (until Ron has enabled sorted querys on the database).
I also removed the “Brushed aluminium” since it didn’t appeal to all of you.
The file is now a .zip archive to prevent it from being run from my server directly.
/Bo
23/11/2007 at 4:19 PM #13520sonichouseParticipantHi Bo,
the zip file has a full path embedded in it.
Any chance you can remove the full path ?unzip FirePlay.zip
Archive: FirePlay.zip
replace var/www/mellberg/FirePlay.swf? [y]es, [n]o, [A]ll, [N]one, [r]ename: nI now get a blank page rendered with this version as well.
Panic over
I noticed this in my logsThread 1662: Error opening /opt/share/mt-daapd/admin-root/FirePlay.swf: Permission denied
Mt-daapd runs as guest, so had to chmod FirePlay.swf to allow guest access.
