Hello everyone.
New version is up which should be significantly faster to browse in. The full requests for songs is not made until you actually want to play the song. I make use of the “type=browse” feature in FireFly.
I have also shifted to the name “FirePlay” so please download these two files if you want to try it out:

(right-click…)No other changes, so don’t expect to be blazed away… ๐ I have tried to fix the discnumber/tracknumber stuff though.
Next on my list is the indexed browsing. It will be followed by the random feature.

Looks the progress bar in 0.54 is also broken for me in both Firefox & IE7.
Using 0.53 the progress bar worked straight away.19/11/2007 at 8:17 PM #13465AnonymousInactive@sonichouse wrote:

/SteveHow would you tag your songs to have this work?
What I usually do is number the songs from the first disc like 101, 102, 103 and second disc 201, 202, etc. There must be a better way?

For my AAC files I let itunes sort that out.
For mp3 files you need to set the TPOS frame.19/11/2007 at 9:41 PM #13467Bo MellbergParticipant@Franc wrote:

Yes. The observant user notes that the song length is not updated from 0:00 either. Fixed now though. This is due to structural changes for readability. I’ll try to make more than I break in the future.

LOL to both of you!!
I need to find a way to be able to run it from the inside of the Flash Dev without having to hack the serverstring every time.
Just out of curiosity: is it really connecting, or does it ask for password? If it does connect that could be the reason for my slow net these days ๐
