    Hi,

My Soundbridges won’t connect to firefly and I’ve run out of things to check!

Both will connect to internet radio, via my wifi AP
Firefly is running – I can open 192.168.0.5:3689 and see the server status

I’ve tried rebooting both ends of the system without any luck.

The system used to work pefectly and now it doesn’t – the only recent change is that I went from WPA encyrption to just mac filtering.

    Any help gratefully received!

    Thanks,

    Lou

    Ok, I fixed my problem.

My firefly (v. 1696) is running on ubuntu and it turns out that the problem was that my firefly script /etc/init.d/mt-daapd wasn’t running as root and that was causing the problem.

    *UPDATE*

I think I’ve finally fixed this by adding the line

    /etc/init.d/mt-daapd restart

    to

    /etc/rc.local

Maybe this is a bad thing, or there is a simpler way, if so I’d like to know!

    Cheers,

    Lou
