Firefly not seen by SB, also web interface not connecting.

Firefly media server is running on my machine but it is not seen by my SB.
😕 I cannot get the web administration interface on the firefly open either. The log seems OK.

It is running on server port 3689 which another user suggested might be a problem if I have iTunes 7.0 running on the same port. Do I need to change this and if so what do I change it to?

Can someone help?

… you’ll want to wipe the config file and copy the example from contrib. In particular, you want the plugins/plugin_dir entry. That’s what’s causing you the grief. You don’t have any plugins to actually serve content — that’s why nothing is advertised.

Hi this seems to be my problem too but I don’t understand any of this. Can you explain it to me in a simple step by step way, please.
