Anyone tried to install the nightly (1696) Firefly on DSL? (Damn Small Linux)

DSL has a version of firefly, but it won’t transcode. I want to play ogg files. I’ve been trying to compile it, but I’m missing id3tag-dev. And I cannot get id3tag-dev to install due to dependency problems. I think someone has to make the dev package for DSL first. That’s a little beyond my ability.

Basically, what I want is a lightweight Linux that still has a GUI. DSL seems to be really great for this, but…. Right now I’m playing with Knoppix, I’ll see where that goes.

    Anyway, just looking for ideas.

    Robbie
