Hi there,
I’m afraid you heard it a 1000 times already… but it’s the same old problem:
I’m running firefly on a NSLU2. Installed it exactly following the guide on http://wiki.fireflymediaserver.org/NSLU2_Installation
Chose a nightly built as I want to access it with a Pinnacle Soundbridge.
Installation… everything worked out fine.Trouble of course starts when starting firefly. The log always tells me…

Hope anyone can help me…?!

My guess is there is a corrupt file that causes firefly to go apeshit 😀27/08/2008 at 11:04 AM #17659AnonymousInactiveHi,
I will try immediately after work.
BTW: I thought firefly logs corrupt mp3s with level -5 ?
That’s what I set up the logfile to.28/08/2008 at 11:03 AM #17660stretchParticipantThe error log you posted basically says “starting up”, “start up complete” then “crashing”
If that’s a -d5 log then you’ll have to use -d9 to see if there’s any more to the story28/08/2008 at 6:40 PM #17661AnonymousInactiveOnce again… many thx.
Ok, I set debuglevel to 9 and checked the log.
After finding some corrupt files (and removing them) firefly now seems to run smooth.Next issue is that my Pinnacle SB cannot find the server. Read some threats ans it seems that I need a Bonjour/Avahi service to make firefly visible.
Hope you can help me once again: How to activate (install?) those services on my NSLU2 ❓
