File Scanner command over SSH…

Does anyone know the terminal command to initiate the File Scanner?

I have my Mac automatically record a radio program every weekday from 5:00 AM until 7:00 AM. The Mac then automatically rsync’s the recording to my LinkStation running Firefly. I would like to setup either a cron job or have the Mac using Lingon run a Terminal command to initiate the file scanner just after the recorded program is written to the LinkStation so when I get up I can just play the recorded content from a SoundBridge without running a File Scan manually.
