I’ve had a few .flac transcoding issues from the svn-1359 version on the Roku site, so I thought I’d try the nightlies.

However, I can’t download the full .exe for windows from the links on the nightlies or stable Firefly site. It seems that the files are available, but they’re only about 500k, not the 9mb they should be. I am not using an accelerator, simply IE7 in XP SP2.

Can someone check the hosted files are correct and not corrupt?

As an aside, my FF will not scan my media unless I run the debug mode. Any ideas, or will the later version help?
(Music store is on a Terastation NAS and has a mapped drive to the UNC location).

    Cheers
    Pete

When I went to both the stable and nightlies download places all I could find were Linux ones last night.

    Right here:

    http://www.fireflymediaserver.org/download.php

Result of a google search on the terms: download firefly media server

Click on the link and end up here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=98211&package_id=105189

Don’t choke to hard on that *cough* of yours… ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for the tip though… Firefly stuff used to be much easier to find a couple years ago.

Yep, when it was still called mt-daapd ๐Ÿ˜‰
The stable release is ancient, the nightlies are the way to go. Oh, and don’t let yourself be confused be “unstable”. I’ve had svn-1969 running for 100+ days without issues.
