    1519 Nightly // Firefox 2.0 // WinXP SP2

All of a sudden when i try to access the server via http://localhost:3689/config I just get a download window with config.html or ‘x-dmap-tagged’ from just local host.

*seems fine when accessed from another laptop on network*
*cleared history / cache and seemed to fix it*

    This help explain? from log

Acually kind of inexplicable, but maybe I can add more anti-caching mojo to the headers.

Happened again in FF 2.0 after I got it all working … tried doing what I did before clearing cache and sessions but nothing …. going to look into it a bit more

    IE Gives a ” Http_400_webOC ” –> tries to download it also.

Funky. I get that off some weird IE-tweaked sites when I surf them with my Firefox. A cleared cache fixed that on my part, but for some pages FF strictly refusess to “open in browser” when I click a link.

What happens in IE when you hit CTRL+F5 (forced reload) ?

Wait… are you *sure* you are talking to the mt-daapd server? 3689 is the iTunes port, and if iTunes is running when mt-daapd starts, iTunes will grab the port.

I see now, turned off the iTunes sharing and we’re all good. Makes sense now that I look back on it
