.dll error trying to upgrade to 1519

I’m trying to update from svn 1498 to svn 1519 on Windows XP SP2. After installing 1519, I get the following error:

FireflyShell.exe – Unable To Locate Component

---

This application has failed to start because MSVCP80.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I tried rebooting, I tried re-installing, I tried going to Microsoft and downloading and installing the C++ Runtimes, I still get this same error on every attempt to start.

Also, if I try now to open the web config page, it still shows version 1498 and says it is running (even though the tray icon doesn’t appear). Soundbridge can still get songs off it, too.

looks like it only has a half install or something?

Maybe try uninstalling and the re-installing, and if it still complains, run the vcredist.exe in the firefly directory.

I’ll try and replicate it.

Well the uninstall/reinstall worked, but now while the “about” tab in the program interface window says svn-1519, the web interface still says svn-1498.

Stale cache? That comes from the server itself, so unless the mt-daapd binary is the old one, then it shoudl show 1519. I’m guessing browser, I think.

Well, cleared the cache but it still says 1498. Tried both Firefox and IE.

Do time and date of the firefly.exe executable match the rest of the files, or is it still the old one?
