crash when playing ogg (ffmpeg’s fault?)

    Hi. Been having this issue for a while on my ubuntu 9.10 server box.. every time i play a certain ogg or even some flac files mt-daap crashes.

    dmesg shows:


    [10911.854450] mt-daapd[3595] general protection ip:b7331aa5 sp:b4fad3b0 error:0 in libavcodec.so.52.20.0[b6eef000+520000]

    and i’m pretty sure thats whats causing the crash.

    and mt-daap.log shows:

    ps: i’ve looked around and searched around.. i’ve seen this problem before, but no fixes. thats why i’m asking
