    Hi,

I use Firefly on my Mediaserver, provinding TV via VDR, etc.

After not beeing used for 20 Minutes, the Server shuts down automatically. I have some scripts checking various programs, if the server can shutdown, returning the number of minutes to wait till next try.

Is there a shell-command providing how many users logged in, or simply: providing whether songs streamed?

    Thanks,

    Hannes

I guess you could parse that XML from firefly. That is documented, and should still be fairly easy in a shell script.

IMHO it should be enough to parse for the existance of “streaming” in the response file. No need to go boogy-down with the XML scheme.
