    Hi,
i’ve installed firefly to my ubuntu server. It all works fine when i’m using my /home/USER directory for my mp3. But if I want to change to /home/media/itunes/ directory, the user interface can’t find a song.
    Thanks for help

    Go to http://:3689
This should load the adminpage. (pass is standard mt-daapd or firefly)
Then go to Configuration and edit the dir in which firefly scans for music.

    Manually?
Edit /etc/mt-daapd.conf and find the dir it scans. Change it to the dir you want to. Restart mt-daapd. 🙂

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply. But I changed the directory on the admin page. Originally it was /home/media. Than I changed it to /home/opticx because this was a samba shared folder. The firefly server worked well so I decided to make a own samba folder /home/media/itunes. But in this folder he cannot find the songs.
    Thanks for help

Check access permissions on the folder. Firefly runs as “nobody” so the folder needs to be readable by everybody
