    Hi,

I cannot access to my library from my M1001 Pinnacle Soundbridge.
    I’m running Firefly svn-1696 on nslu2 with Unslung 6.10.

RSP plugin seem to be ok, the server scan show the 30 music files.

The firmware of my M1001 is 3.0.44.

So, there’s something wrong somewhere ???

Is the SB using a wired or wireless network connection?
    What router are you using?
Can you see Firefly from your computer using iTunes or the Java Firefly client found in the 3rd party software section?
How is your computer connected to the network?

    Hello Stretch,

Everything is wired, pre-reserved on mac address in the DHCP.
There is no router between all my devices, all are on the same LAN
My computer is running XP SP3, and is connected on the same LAN with DHCP reservation.
Ping response between all devices is ok (even from and to my M1001 with the telnet interface on 4444 port)

I don’t test yet. I will do this evening.

    You recommend me this one?

Test with the java client from my pc is ok. ๐Ÿ˜€
I can find my library, I play a song.

Firefly on NSLU2 is running well.

But, still no library discover on my M1001. Network setting should be ok, because the M1001 see my Windows Server on my PC but no my Firefly server on the NSLU2.

Do I need to do special settings on the server to accept M1001 connection ?

    Hi everybody,

I saw some post about problems around unicast and broadcast with the NSLU2 and the M1001, so this evening I will change my router hub by a regular switch netgear to see if it works.

    Bingo !! ๐Ÿ˜€

I replaced my hub modem/router by a regular “Netgear” switch and finaly my M1001 can access to my library.

Unfornately, I can’t access to my modem/router settings. This device is provide by my ISP so I can’t grant any access on it.

The solution is to buy a switch device for internal communication.

If that help someone my routeur is a Bewan ibox and provider is Tele2.

Thanks, stretch your first idea was the good one.
