To avoid hijacking another thread in this forum (about soundbridge – sorry can’t post URL due to spammers), I thought I’d start a new thread.

I have a Buffalo Terastation running Twonky, but I’m getting fed up with some of the strange behaviours. Also, it wont play my flacs on my PS3 – it plays them on the Soundbridge, but the PS3 ‘knows’ it’s not really a true WAV stream.

    So, 2 questions really….

    1) can FF transcode Flacs to Wav in such a way that the PS3 plays them without issue?

    2) can FF stream JPGs so that I can access them via the PS3 on the projector for the family shots?

If so, I’m convinced I need to switch!!

    Cheers
    Pete

PS3 does not support DAAP, only UPnP. So basically, they don’t talk the same language. Firefly will (well, looks like it) have UPnP functionnality, but it’s not fully developped yet.
As for pics, same thing, it’s DPAP instead of DAAP.
