What about a bug area on the web page?

I’m a new user and had some problems with the darwinports-release (version 0.2.0) and the last stable release 0.2.1.1. I found out that others had had the same problems and that recent releases are better.

A list of known bugs, maybe with links to the forum, and a “repaired in version…” would habe been very helpful.

The listing you describe exists, to a certain degree, at the nightlies node. Ron keeps a running narrative of the fixes and remaining issues in the right-hand column. As bugs get fixed, there is little need to maintain a list of them. However, I can see merit in compiling a list of current bugs and limitations which have yet to be addressed.

I will try to work on something like this at the documentation node. If you would like to see it implemented sooner than I can get to it, please feel free to begin a page yourself – that is why it is presented as a wiki. 🙂
