    Hi All

    my music keeps stopping on my Soundbridge, although connection ok.
    Firefly log shows following:

    2007-12-24 10:43:22 (a000ed88): Rescanning database
    2007-12-24 10:43:24 (a000ed88): Starting playlist scan
    2007-12-24 10:44:56 (a000ed88): Error parsing playlist: Offset 1: Expecting field name
    2007-12-24 10:44:56 (a000ed88): Playlist 3351968 bad syntax2007-12-24 10:44:57 (a000ed88): Scanned 6039 songs (was 6039) in 95 seconds

    Would welcome any suggestions on what may be causing this.

    Thanks

    Which version of firefly ?

    Are you using smart playlists ?

    If so, check through the web interface if any of them have a 0 count for the number of items.

    Hi Sonichouse

    thanks for the reply, version of Firefly is shown in prefs as svn-1359

    I just use playlists from itunes, a couple of the smart playlists are empty so I have deleted them to see if that makes a difference and have restarted Firefly, but am still getting error;

    You might want to bump up the debuglevel to 9 and then do a scan, that should identify the culprit playlist 😉

    Thanks guys, looks like it doesn’t like playlists with a fullstop in the name, have renamed and all seems ok again.

    cheers
