Woohoo, that’s it: somehow the config.xml didn’t make it into the .ipk-package.
After adding it manually from sources to the admin-root directory it (nearly) works as expected including the 6 Firebug errors ๐Ÿ™‚

Unfortunately the config-page gets confused again when I switch on my favourite VariousArtists-Compilation-setting by adding the following code to my mt-daapd.conf:

    [scanning]
    concat compilations = 1

Maybe this setting can be honored by the config-page in an upcoming release.

    Best wishes from Germany,
    Nico

I will add all missing options to config.xml, it is just a miscommunication between Ron and me. I also added a bug to handle future cases of bad communication ๐Ÿ™‚ http://trac.mt-daapd.org/index.cgi/ticket/118

    Hi,

the config page is not displayed at all in Safari and Firefox on Mac OS X (http://www.biama.de/config.png). In Safari the status page is nearly empty (http://www.biama.de/safari.png) and the refresh does not work but it seems to work in Firefox (http://www.biama.de/firefox.png).

    Regards,
    Marc

Nope, actually it was probably a lack of communication. I though I knew what I was doing and I bet Ron also thought I knew what I was doing, but it turned out I had missed a bunch of options that should go into the config.
Will add them in the next commit.

About the Safari issues. I don’t have any Mac friends to test stuff on. But I’ll see what I can do.

Do you have a linux box with konq? That might be close enough to webcore.

Konqueror was the key. Thanks for the tip.
status.html and config.html now almost works in Safari.

    Fixes are in subversion:
    http://trac.mt-daapd.org/admin.cgi/changeset/1113
    and
    http://trac.mt-daapd.org/admin.cgi/changeset/1114

    Hello!

… just want to confirm that the status and config pages work with svn-1130 on Mac OS X with Safari. Thanks! The only thing is that I can’t save the settings. I always get the message “Couldn’t save and if this weren’t a beta I’d tell you why” …

    Regards,
    Mrc

Another feedback: on my home ie 6.0, the config page runs w/o error.

On the a.m. w2k version in the company, it still doesn’t show up.

    BR,
    Carsten.
