I have a problem, my soundbridge (Pinnacle) can’t find Firefly media server (Mt-daapd svn-1515)

I’ve tried avahi, and howl, both work with daap (with a java client).
Now i’m so desperate i even tried the windows version of firefly.
i have a daap client that can find firefly, soundbridge just won’t :(.

What can i do ?

William

Check your plugins_dir in your config file and make sure that directory has a “rsp.so” in it. Then maybe crank your log file up to a higher level and watch your debug logs and make sure it loads the rsp.so, and that it says it registers _rsp._tcp.

Are the server and the soundbridge split across wired/wireless segments? Can you connect the soundbridge wired to see if it see it (at least as a test)?

Ok,

I was using soundbridge over a wired network 🙂
And this is the output of mDNSBrowse:

naru log # mDNSBrowse _rsp._tcp

My soundbridge is a pinnacle one, is that a problem?
