Success! It started up. I then went to log into the webpage to configure, etc. and it wouldn’t let me in with the default login (admin) and password. I tried changing the password in the mt-daapd config file, still wouldn’t let me.

Is there something I am missing?

The mt-daapd password is different from he admin password. If you changed the admin password in the config file, that will be the one to use (admin_pw, right?). But you have to stop and restart the server to do that (/opt/etc/init.d/S60mt-daapd will restart)
