It appears a restart of my PC did the trick. I believe the culprit may have been an XBMC that I recently added to my network, as I know I had restarted my PC in the past, but I think the XBMC had always been on then. So, I think the XBMC was forcing the daap to run (just a guess). Anyway to turn DAAP off, as I use SMB for XBMC.
