You have to change some display settings within XBMC.
First bring up your file list. You’ll see all the files with numbers in front of them
Then bring up the pop-up menu and pick the settings option. ( I have an original xbox and get this by pressing the white button)
Scroll down to the files option
On the right you’ll see “Track Naming Template” and it will read something like “[N]” %A – %T.
Simply erase everything in front of %A – %T and your files should now appear in order of artist name.
