So I just got it with help from this post.

I cd /usr/local/share/mt-daapd
then mv plugins plugins.bak
ln -s /usr/local/lib/mt-daapd/plugins plugins
cd plugins
ln -s librsp.so.0.0 librsp.so
start up in the foreground, and we are off to the races.
