Thanks very much for the good information.
I enabled the log file a level 5 and found out that:
“Could not open port: Address already in use”
“Error starting web server: Address already in use”
“Aborting”
“Rendezvous socket closed (daap server crashed?) Aborting.”
Oh, I turned off the firewall.
So the problem now is, I guess, finding out what’s using the 3689 socket? This is new territory for me and would very much appreciate help in sorting that out.
