The version number is embedded within the name, eg:
- Firefly Media Server (svn-1696).exe is version 1696
Firefly Media Server (svn-1695).exe is version 1695
Firefly Media Server (svn-1586).exe is version 1586
svn-1586 is the most stable of the nightlies. svn-1696 has a few problems but is useable if setup to run with an sqlite3 database. Anything in between should be avoided due to memory leaks.
I assume that you’re using svn-1696 as it’s at the top of the list. Could you please confirm that by clicking on the about tab?
Firefly needs to have TCP port 9999 and UDP port 5353 open in your servers firewall. Are these open?
Have you installed Bonjour for Windows?
