I run Firefly on a Mac with Leopard and iTunes 7.5
The Firefly server finds the iTunes Library.xml file but does not find any playlists defined therein. My Music library resides under
/Users/Shared/Wir/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music and the library file is
/Users/Shared/Wir/Music/iTunes/iTunes Library.xml
Everybody has read access on that file.I can tell from the log file (level 9) that the server sees the xml file and scans it but no playlists appear.
from Log file: Processing playlists
2008-01-06 22:30:15 (a0226074): Starting playlist scan
2008-01-06 22:30:15 (a0226074): About to scan /Users/Shared/Wir/Music/iTunes/iTunes Library.xml
2008-01-06 22:30:15 (a0226074): Finished playlist loop

Go into your web config (via the preference pane) into configuration and click the “advanced” link. Find the options for “enable_playlists” and “enable_itunes” and “enable_m3u” and make sure they are set to “yes”
