Thanks for cracking this one.
I’ve manually set the configure options HAVE_VA_COPY and HAVE_VA__COPY to 1 and rebuilt the package on Fedora 7. I can confirm that this solves the problem.
I’m not a configure guru either, so any help for making a definitive fix/patch is appreciated.
