You mentioned you are using a wireless router, which one do you use?
Did you check the webinterface of the wireless router for an option like “enable multicast” ? Perhaps it is also labeld a security or firewall functionality to block multicasts / anycasts.
In order to operate, firefly needs to be able to send such messages throughout the network.
Does internet radio play well on the soundbridge? To rule out general connection issues….
