OK – thanks for the input. I finally have it working. To achieve this I uninstalled Fiirefly ran the Clean iTunes and Fix iTunes add ons – then after a series of reboots – reinstalled Firefly.
The main dufference between the Firefly reinstall however was that instead of using the Firefly 1.0.0 add on as I had been doing previously, I actually reinstalled RAIDiator 4.00c1-p2. This installs Firefly version svn-1676 dated 16th October.
I have’nt attempted to set up playlists or do anything else but at least I can now see the iTunes Server and it now works.
