I’ve just reinstalled it and it definitely installed the svn 1696-1.
Still the same issues with RhythmBox and on the Roku.
I’ve just tried it on OurTunes (Java in Windows) and iTunes 7.5 and I get the same problem.

Is it worth going back to the stable release and adding in FLAC and OGG transcoding to that?
Or is that difficult to do?
