Same here:

    I can make a copy of the file.
    I can open the file in vi, begins with “^?ELF^A^A^A^@^@…”

(the “^?ELF” is something all executables seem to start with.)

what does “file /usr/sbin/mt-daapd” say? Is the the right architecture? Compare it to the output of “uname -a”
