I figured it out. For anyone else out there you have to login to your freenas gui. Click Advanced. Click Command. Then type cp -R /whereyouputFirePlay /usr/local/share/my-daapd/admin-root Then click execute. You have to issue the command through this interface I guess, even though I have my self an admin account I still could not do it from a normal ssh session without getting ‘permission denied’
