Thanks. After reading the recommendation of 1489 posted on the rokulabs forum, I removed 1586 and installed 1489. 1489 might have been the version that had stopped working after many months of joy and started my flailing around to find the problem (which led to my removing whatever version had stopped and installing 1586), but in any event removing 1586 and installing or re-installing 1489 temporarily restored my service. After starting (a big improvement over 1586!) and scanning my library, 1489 ran for 10 minutes or so but then stopped. I’ll post the error report and log in the next message.
